Litesa E. Wallace, born in 1978, is an American politician. She was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives. She represented the 67th district from August 2014 to January 2019.

Early Life and Education
Litesa Wallace was born in Chicago, Illinois. She went to Western Illinois University. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Later, she studied at Northern Illinois University. She earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling. She also received a Ph.D. in educational psychology.
Political Career
Serving in the Illinois House
In August 2014, Litesa Wallace joined the Illinois House of Representatives. The Democratic Party in Winnebago County chose her for this role. She took over from Charles E. Jefferson. Before this, Wallace worked as Jefferson's chief of staff. This means she was a main helper and advisor for him.
Running for Lieutenant Governor
In 2018, Wallace ran for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois. She joined State Senator Daniel Biss in his campaign. They were a team for the Democratic primary election. Wallace and Biss talked about important issues. They wanted to help families with childcare. They also supported a $15 minimum wage. They aimed to make healthcare available to more people. They also believed wealthier people should pay their fair share of taxes. However, Biss and Wallace did not win the primary election. J. B. Pritzker and Julianna Stratton won instead.
In the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, Wallace supported Bernie Sanders.
Congressional Election in 2022
In November 2021, Wallace announced she would run for Congress. She sought to represent Illinois's 17th congressional district. This election took place in 2022.
