Littoral–Inner Carniola Statistical Region facts for kids
The Littoral–Inner Carniola Statistical Region (which is Primorsko-notranjska statistična regija in Slovenian) is a special area in Slovenia. It's like a big district used for collecting facts and figures, such as how many people live there or what kind of jobs they have. Before January 1, 2015, this region had a different name: the Inner Carniola–Karst Statistical Region.
What are the Municipalities?
A municipality is like a local government area, similar to a town or a small county. The Littoral–Inner Carniola Statistical Region is made up of six of these municipalities. Each one has its own local leaders and services.
