History of Longwood Manor
Who Built Longwood Manor?
Longwood Manor was built in 1924. The person who built it was Colonel William Frew Long. He was a very important person in Macedonia. Colonel Long was the very first Mayor of Macedonia. He also served his country in two big wars: World War I and World War II.

The house was built in the Tudor Revival architectural style. This style makes Longwood Manor look like old English homes. It has features like steep roofs, tall chimneys, and decorative half-timbering. This unique look makes it stand out in the area.
Longwood Manor Becomes a Park
A Gift to the City
