Lope de Ulloa y Lemos facts for kids
Lope de Ulloa y Lemos (born around 1572 in Galicia, Spain – died December 8, 1620, in Concepción, Chile) was a Spanish soldier. He was chosen by the Viceroy of Peru, a high-ranking official, to become the Royal Governor of Chile. He also served as the president of the Royal Court (Real Audiencia) in Santiago.
His time as governor in Chile lasted for about two years, from January 1618 until his death in December 1620.
