Louis-Frédéric's Career and Writings
Louis-Frédéric wrote many books about India, Japan, and Southeast Asia. He was the editor of a huge 10-volume set called Encyclopaedia of Asian Civilizations. This important work was published in English between 1977 and 1987. His book Japan encyclopedia was also very popular. It was published in English and French between 1996 and 2005.
