The Louis Stokes Wing is a tall, modern building that was finished in 1998. It stands 163 feet high and has 10 floors. This building is an important addition to the main branch of the Cleveland Public Library. This library is one of the 15 largest public libraries in the United States! It is located in the Civic Center area of downtown Cleveland.

The Wing was designed to look like a modern version of a classic building. It fits in well with the older, original library building. The designers wanted it to look like the library had grown into a new, updated structure.
