Louisa Lilias Plunket Greene (born November 7, 1833 – died March 30, 1891) was an Irish author. She is best known for writing many children's stories. She sometimes used different names for her books, like Louisa Lilias Greene or R. J. Greene.

Louisa Lilias Plunket was born in 1833. Her father was John Span Plunket, 3rd Baron Plunket, a noble from Newton, Ireland. Her mother was Charlotte Bushe. Charlotte's father, Charles Kendal Bushe, was a very important judge in Ireland. Louisa had many brothers and sisters. One of her brothers, William Conyngham Plunket, 4th Baron Plunket, later became an Archbishop in Dublin. Another brother, David Robert Plunket, 1st Baron Rathmore, also became a well-known figure.

In 1852, Louisa married Richard Jonas Greene. His father, Richard Wilson Greene, was also a judge in Ireland. Louisa and Richard had six children together. Some of their children became famous in their own right. For example, their son William Conyngham Greene became a diplomat, and their son Harry Plunket Greene became a famous singer and music teacher.

Louisa Lilias Plunket Greene passed away in Dublin, Ireland, on March 30, 1891.
