Building a Legacy: The History of Lundgaard & Tranberg
Lundgaard & Tranberg was started in 1985. It was founded by two architects, Boje Lundgaard and Lene Tranberg.
Early Projects
In the 1990s, the company became known for designing power plants. These are big buildings that help make energy for cities. They also designed other important technical places.
Becoming Famous
The company became very well known in the mid-2000s. They designed a cool living area called Charlottehaven in 2004. After that, they created two very famous buildings. One was the Tietgenkollegiet, which is a student dormitory. The other was a new building for the Royal Danish Theater. Both of these projects won many awards.
A New Chapter
In 2004, Boje Lundgaard left the company. Lene Tranberg continued to lead the firm. She worked with a new group of partners. They kept designing amazing and award-winning buildings.
