Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter is a company from Denmark that designs buildings. They are based in Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark. This firm is known for creating many important and beautiful buildings.

History of Lundgaard & Tranberg

The company Lundgaard & Tranberg was started in 1985. It was founded by two architects, Boje Lundgaard and Lene Tranberg.

In the 1990s, they became known for designing special buildings. These included power plants, which create both heat and electricity. They also designed other technical facilities.

The company became really famous in the mid-2000s. This was thanks to projects like Charlottehaven, a home complex built in 2004. They also designed the amazing Tietgenkollegiet, a place for students to live. Another big project was a new building for the Royal Danish Theater. These designs won many awards and were highly praised.

In 2004, when the company was becoming very successful, Boje Lundgaard left. Lene Tranberg continued to lead the company with new partners.
