What's in a Name?

Many streets in Lynmouth have interesting names. They come from a famous old book called Lorna Doone. This novel was written by Richard Blackmore.

This naming style fits with the general theme of New Plymouth. The city itself is named after a place in England. Other streets in the area also have English names, like Weymouth Street and Devon Street.
