Becoming an Artist
Lynn worked hard to become the artist she is today. In 1998, she earned a special art degree called an Honours BFA from the University of Manitoba. This degree helps artists learn many different skills. Later, in 2005, she continued her studies and got another advanced degree, an MFA in Sculpture, from the University of Texas at Austin in the United States. That same year, she also received a special award called the Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant in New York, which helps young artists.

Lynn Richardson's art has been shown in many places around the world. She has had exhibitions, which are like art shows, in Canada, the United States, and even Taiwan.
Famous Artworks
One of her most famous large artworks is called Red State. This big installation was part of a group show called Supernovas at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. It was also shown at the Michael Gibson Gallery in London, Ontario.
Lynn has also had her own art shows, called solo exhibitions. For example, in 2007, she presented her work Inter-glacial Free Trade Agency.ca at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina. In 2008, she showed a series of new artworks at Harcourt House in Edmonton.
