Early Films and Adventures

Mélanie and Olivier's first film was called Asiemut. It came out in 2006 and shared the story of a long bicycle trip they took across Asia. It was an exciting way to start their filmmaking careers!

In 2011, they released two more films. One was a longer movie called Encounters (also known as Rencontre). The other was a shorter film titled Ice Philosophy (or L'homme de glace).

Exploring Connections with Québékoisie

Shining a Light on Global Issues

In 2019, Mélanie and Olivier worked with a photographer named Renaud Philippe on a project called Wandering: A Rohingya Story (also known as Errance sans retour). The film helped people understand the challenges faced by the Rohingya community.

These awards celebrate the best in Canadian film and television. The film was also nominated for Best Documentary Film at the 23rd Quebec Cinema Awards, showing its impact in Quebec and across Canada.
