Mabel "Lula" Lapacó (born in 1930, died in 2016) was an important architect from Argentina. She was known for designing buildings in a style called Brutalism. This style uses lots of raw concrete and has a strong, blocky look.
Mabel Lapacó studied architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. While she was there, she met Osvaldo Bidinost. They later got married and worked together on many projects.
Mabel Lapacó passed away on January 22, 2016, in Buenos Aires.
