Mulaza Kaira, born on October 10, 1984, is a famous Zambian hip hop musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is also known by his stage names like Macky 2, MK Macky 2, DJ Bugar, and Flava Boy. Many people know him from his time on Big Brother Africa season nine, where he finished in third place.
Macky 2 comes from Chingola, Zambia. He also runs the Macky 2 Hope Foundation. This foundation helps children who are orphans or need support. In March 2025, Macky 2 shared that he plans to run for a position in parliament for the Nchanga area in Chingola District during the 2026 general election.

Macky 2's Music Journey
Macky 2 started loving music when he was a child. He often attended the Catholic church in Ndola, which helped him discover his passion for music.
Early Albums and Awards
In 2011, Macky 2 moved to Lusaka. There, he released his album Ndimupondo. This album was produced with Digital X, Alpha Entertainment, and J-Kayo. Two songs from Ndimupondo, "I am The President" and "Number 1 Fan", became very popular on the radio.
In 2013, Macky 2 won the Zambia Music Award for Album of the Year. He received this award for his album titled Legendary. He has performed with other artists like Dalisoul and Dandy Krazy since the start of his career.
Nominations and Retirement
In 2014, Macky 2 was nominated for several Zambia Music Awards. These included Best Mainstream Artist, Best Hip Hop/Rap Album, and Best Collaboration.
Macky 2 officially retired from active music on June 5, 2022. On that same day, he released his album OLIJABA. Also on June 5, 2022, his reality TV show called KING BUGA started. It premiered on the Zambezi Magic Channel.
Big Brother Africa Experience
Macky 2 was a contestant on the ninth season of Big Brother Africa. Some viewers thought he was "too quiet" during the show. However, he stayed in the house for the entire season. He received a lot of support from his fans and people in Zambia. He made it to the ninth and final week of the show, finishing in third place.

Macky 2 is married to Cheelo Hantiinga. They have two children together.
