Maksym Shkil (born 19 August 1983) is a Ukrainian businessman. He started and owns a big group of companies called MS Capital Holding. This group includes businesses that transport goods, build roads, sell cars, and farm.
Maksym Shkil also started the Maksym Shkil Charitable Foundation. This foundation helps many people. He is also a Vice President of the National Association of Road Workers of Ukraine.
About Maksym Shkil
Maksym Shkil was born on August 19, 1983, in Lviv, Ukraine. He studied at Lviv Polytechnic University. There, he learned about applied linguistics and business economics. He also studied law at Ivan Franko Lviv National University. In 2012, he earned a special degree in legal sciences.
His Business Journey
Maksym Shkil started his first business in 2006. He worked with partners to dig up, process, and sell granite stone.
In 2011, he created the First Logistics Company. This company is one of the biggest in Ukraine for moving grain by train. They have a large fleet of 1,500 train cars. They work with major companies that buy and sell grain around the world.
In 2016, Maksym Shkil built the biggest Audi car dealership in Ukraine. It is called Audi Center Odessa South.
That same year, he started a company called "AUTOSTRADA" with a German partner. This company builds and fixes roads and bridges. By 2020, AUTOSTRADA had invested over $70 million. It became one of the top road-building companies in Ukraine.
In 2019, Maksym Shkil brought all his businesses together. He formed one big group called MS Capital Holding. More than 2,000 people work for this group of companies.
In 2020, MS Capital Holding started a farming business. It is called the Pryluky Agrarian Company. They bought an elevator (for storing grain) and land in the Chernihiv and Poltava regions. This land is about 5,000 hectares, which is a very large area.
Family Life
Maksym Shkil is married. He has two daughters.
Helping Others
Maksym Shkil cares about helping people. In 2011, he started the Maksym Shkil Charitable Foundation. This foundation has completed over 300 projects. It has helped more than 10,000 families across Ukraine.
Since 2020, Maksym Shkil has been the Vice President of the National Association of Road Workers of Ukraine. This group works to improve roads in the country.
