Who are the Hosts of Maple Shorts?
The two main hosts of Maple Shorts are a goose named Canuckles and a salmon named Sela. They make the show entertaining with their funny personalities.
Meet Canuckles the Goose
Canuckles is a goose with a strong personality. He really wanted to be a director, which means he wanted to be in charge of making films. But instead, he became a critic, someone who reviews and judges films. Canuckles can be a bit grumpy and thinks highly of himself.
Meet Sela the Salmon
Sela the salmon is Canuckles' co-host. She is very different from him! Sela is sweet-natured and a little bit silly. Together, their different personalities make for a funny duo as they talk about each short film.

March Entertainment's Other Shows

The Maple Shorts Film Festival
March Entertainment, which started in 1996, also organizes something special called the Maple Shorts Canadian Animators' Flash Film Festival. This festival is a competition where animators can submit their short films. The best films from the festival are sometimes chosen to be shown on the Maple Shorts TV show!
