María Socas (born August 12, 1959 – died December 10, 2024) was a talented actress from Argentina. She was very busy acting in her home country, especially in TV shows called telenovelas and on stage in plays.
However, many people around the world knew her best from the fantasy adventure movies she made in the mid-1980s. These movies, sometimes called "sword and sorcery" films, were made by Roger Corman and Héctor Olivera. One of her most famous roles was in the movie The Warrior and the Sorceress, where she played one of the main characters.
María Socas passed away on December 10, 2024, when she was 65 years old.
