Margaret Campbell (born April 24, 1883 – died June 27, 1939) was an American actress. She was known for playing interesting characters in silent films. Later in her life, she worked as a secretary for the Baháʼí Spiritual Assembly in Los Angeles.

Margaret Campbell was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a main actress for a group called the Bramhall Players. She performed in many plays on Broadway, which is a famous theater district in New York City. Some of her plays included Lightnin' (1918) and Hamlet (1912).
Later, she started acting in movies, just like her husband, actor Josef Swickard. She often played roles as elegant or important ladies. Margaret Campbell stopped acting in films when movies with sound became popular.
