Marina Nazimovna Alieva, born on June 4, 1985, is a talented Russian singer. She is also an actress, dancer, and songwriter. Marina is recognized as a Merited Artist of the Republic of Dagestan. This means she has been honored for her artistic achievements.

About Marina Alieva
Early Life and Talents
Marina Alieva was born in a city called Shevchenko. This city is now known as Aktau and is in Kazakhstan. Her father is from the Rutul people, and her mother is Lezgin. Marina has four sisters and one brother. When Marina was 14, her family moved to Izberbash, Dagestan.
Marina went to 2nd High School. While she was there, she often performed songs and dances. Her first big success was winning a song contest called My Hearth and Home, Dagestan. Marina also taught dancing at her school. Her very first major concert was in 2001. She won first place at the Young Voices song contest.
Starting Her Music Career
In 2002, Marina began studying at the Dagestan State Pedagogical University. She first joined the Faculty of Musical Arts. Later, she studied at the Faculty of Pedagogic Studies. Her singing teacher was Siydzhana Beimurazova. Siydzhana was a music school teacher.
In 2005, Marina appeared on a TV show called Dance Floor Star. This show was on MTV Russia. She made it to the final round. Marina was the only person from Dagestan to reach the final. She finished as the runner-up on the show.
Hit Songs and Albums
Marina wrote her first song, "Tantsy pod lunoi" (Dances under the Moon), with a friend. After that, her first music video, "Prosti" (Forgive), was released. She also recorded songs with Timur Umarov. These songs included "Ya ne mogu tak zhit'" (I Can't Live This Way). Other songs were "Na tantspole" (On the Dance Floor) and "Day mne znat'" (Give Me to Know).
After releasing "Ya ukhozhu" (I Leave), Marina took a break. She later returned with new songs. These songs were in the Lezgin language. They were called "My Love" and "The Only One." Her first album, "2 Live 4 Music," came out in 2009. She also had a solo concert that year.
Marina is well-known for working with Aslan Guseynov. He is also a Merited Artist of the Republic of Dagestan. Their song "Gde ty" (Where Are You?) became very popular. It even made it onto the Golden Grammophone music chart. Marina has written more than 60 songs herself.
Performances and Other Work
Marina performs at many festivals. These include folk culture festivals in Moscow. She also gives concerts in different cities across Russia. She has performed in Baku, Azerbaijan, too.
From 2008 to 2011, Marina acted in a TV comedy show. It was called "Gortsy ot uma" (Highlanders from Wit). In 2012, she was a judge. This was for the World Art & Fashion festival in Kemer, Turkey.
