Marion Bond was born in 1903 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She loved art and studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art. She also went to the Art Students League of New York. Later, she earned a special degree called a master's degree from Columbia University.
Her Art Style
Marion Bond was known for painting both portraits (pictures of people) and landscapes (pictures of nature, like mountains or forests). She used two main styles:
