Mark S. Hubbard is an American gospel music singer and songwriter. He was born on October 15, 1966. Mark Hubbard began his music journey in 1992. His first album, Trust in Jesus, was released by Tyscot Records. This album was his only one to appear on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart.
Mark Hubbard's backing choir was first known as The United Voices for Christ. Today, they are often called "The Voices." In 2017, Mark was chosen to be the President of The Recording Academy's Chicago Chapter, which is known for "The GRAMMYs."

Early Life and Choir Beginnings
Mark S. Hubbard was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 15, 1966. His mother, Bishop Louarraire, led the Greater Temple Missionary Baptist Church. Mark became a Christian at age five. He joined his mother's church and later became the leader of the choir there.
In 1985, Mark created his own choir, The United Voices for Christ. It started with just three people. Over time, the choir grew to have more than one hundred members!
Mark Hubbard's Music Career
Mark Hubbard's first album, Trust in Jesus, came out on September 25, 1992. It was released by Tyscot Records. This album reached No. 28 on the Billboard magazine Top Gospel Albums chart. This was a big achievement for his first album.
He released two more albums with Tyscot Records:
- No, I Won't Turn Back (March 21, 1995)
- He's up There (October 22, 1996)
Later, Mark released two more albums:
- Different Level (August 18, 1998) with Platinum Entertainment
- Blessin' Waitin' on Me (October 12, 2004) with Utopia Music Group
Blessin' Waitin' on Me earned him his first Stellar Award in 2006. The Stellar Awards celebrate excellence in gospel music.
