Marko Matvere (born February 4, 1968) is a well-known Estonian actor and singer. He was a lead actor at the Tallinn City Theatre for many years. In 2004, he decided to become a freelance actor, meaning he works on different projects without being tied to one theater.

Marko Matvere was born in Pärnu, a city in Estonia. He studied acting at the Tallinn Conservatory, which is now called the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He finished his studies in 1990.
Marko is married to Tiina Matvere. They have two children, a daughter named Matilde and a son named Oskar.

Marko Matvere has performed in many popular musicals. Some of these include Les Misérables, Tanz der Vampire, The Sound of Music, and Miss Saigon. He has also played main roles in several films, like Georg, and in television series.
He was a host for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 alongside Annely Peebo. He also hosted the TV show Songs with Stars with Karin Rask. Since 1989, Marko has been a member of a music group called "Väikeste lõõtspillide ühing" (which means "Association of Little Accordions"). He has also released two music albums with Jaan Tätte.
