Marriott's Grande Vista is a fun Marriott Vacation Club resort in Orlando, Florida. It's a special kind of vacation spot where families can own a part of a vacation home for a certain time each year. This resort is the biggest one in the Marriott Vacation Club family! It has 1616 comfy rooms, including studios and villas with one, two, or three bedrooms. These are all spread out in 24 buildings that look like old Spanish missions.

Exploring Marriott's Grande Vista Resort
Marriott's Grande Vista opened its doors in March 1997. It sits on a huge piece of land, about 164 acres (which is like 124 football fields!). When it first opened, it also had the "Faldo Golf Institute." This was a special place with a nine-hole golf course and a training center for people who wanted to learn or get better at golf.
Growing the Resort: West Village
Construction continued on the resort through the 2000s. The newer part was called the "West Village." The last buildings in this area were finished in 2006. The West Village also added a brand-new swimming pool area. Plus, it got a cool new restaurant and bar called the Copa Loca Bar and Grill, which opened in 2004.
Fun Things to Do at the Resort
The resort has 24 buildings in total. There are four different swimming pool areas, so you can always find a spot to splash around. You'll also find several restaurants and bars to grab a bite. If you need snacks or forgotten items, there's a convenience store called "The Marketplace." The property also has a pretty lake, a fitness center for working out, and a relaxing spa that was built in 2009.
Awards and Recognition
In 2009, Marriott's Grande Vista received a special award. It got "Green Lodging" certification from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This means the resort works hard to protect the environment. The resort has also won "Southeast/Caribbean Resort of the Year" many times. It was even named "Marriott Vacation Club's Resort of the Year" in both 2003 and 2010.
