Marsha Kennedy (born in 1951) is a talented Canadian artist. She grew up in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, and later moved to Regina for high school. Marsha is well-known for her amazing paintings and drawings.

She studied art at the University of Regina, earning her first degree in 1977. Later, she completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at York University in 1981. A big idea in Marsha's art is the connection between people and nature. She often explores how humans interact with the natural world.

Marsha Kennedy's Art and Career

Marsha Kennedy has shared her knowledge by teaching art at several places. She taught at Guelph University and Fanshawe College. She also taught at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In 1991, she started teaching drawing and painting at the University of Regina.

Her paintings often show the strong links between people and nature. Sometimes, her art also explores how human actions can affect nature. She even published an art book called The Rapture of Flora.

In 2007, Marsha worked on a special video project. It was an educational series called Art InCLINEd. In one part of the video, she talked about how women artists have used art to explore science throughout history.

In 2011, Marsha took part in a program called "Artists by Artists." This program was held at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon. It allowed her to work closely with another artist, the sculptor Carole Epp.
