Learning and Art School
In 1974, Marsha moved to Florence, Italy. She wanted to learn even more about art. She earned her painting degree from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. This was while she was part of the California State University International Program. There, she also earned her Master's degree in Art. Marsha also specialized in etching. Etching is a way of making prints. She studied it at Il Bisonte, an international printmaking school in Florence. Later, she even worked there as an assistant.
Art Inspired by Nature
In the 1970s, Marsha spent almost ten years studying art. She focused on a wild area in Southern Tuscany called the Maremma. During this time, she created many artworks. These pieces show her special connection with nature. You can often see bulls in her art. This is because she was inspired by ancient Greek stories and myths.

Marsha's most recent series of paintings is called Cattivi Maestri e Donna. This means "Iniquitous Masters and Woman." In these paintings, Marsha shows herself.
