Martin Kearns (born March 7, 1977 – died September 14, 2015) was an English drummer. He was famous for playing in the band Bolt Thrower, which plays a type of music called death metal. Martin joined Bolt Thrower in 1994 when he was 17 years old. Before that, he played drums in many local bands in Coventry, England. He played different kinds of music, from metal to reggae, and even performed in pubs starting at age 14.

Martin Kearns passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2015, when he was 38 years old. The band shared that during a practice session, Martin felt a bit lightheaded and had trouble breathing. He then tried to rest and was found to have passed away peacefully in his sleep.
After Martin's passing, the other members of Bolt Thrower made a difficult decision. They decided not to find a new drummer and instead ended the band. The lead singer, Karl Willetts, explained that Bolt Thrower was definitely over for good. He said there would be no more tours or compromises. This showed how much Martin meant to the band.
