Early Life and Big Win
Martina Colombari was born in Riccione, a town in northern Italy, on July 10, 1975. When she was just 16 years old, in October 1991, Martina won the Miss Italia beauty pageant. At that time, she was the youngest person ever to win this big competition!
From Pageant to TV Star
After winning Miss Italia, Martina became a popular face on Italian television. She hosted or co-hosted several TV shows. Some of these shows included Un disco per l'estate, which was a music festival, and sports talk shows like Galagoal and Controcampo.
Acting Career
Martina also became an actress. She played a main character in the movie What Girls Never Say in 2000. She also appeared in other films, such as Paparazzi (1998) and She (2001). On television, she had a regular role in the popular series Carabinieri, where she played Gioia Capello for many episodes.
