Martti Juhani Suosalo (born on July 19, 1962) is a famous Finnish actor and singer. He has been acting for many years in both television shows and movies, and he has also lent his voice to popular video games.

Martti's Early Life and Acting Start
Martti Suosalo was born in Oulu, Finland. He started his acting journey in 1986 with a role in a TV series. He soon became a regular face on Finnish television. In the early 1990s, he also began appearing in movies. One of his early films was Aapo in 1994.
Martti really wanted to study acting. He tried three times to get into the Helsinki Theatre Academy and finally succeeded in 1983. He graduated from the Theatre Academy in 1987, ready to take on more acting roles.
Big Roles and Video Game Adventures
While Martti Suosalo has done a lot of work in television, he also had a very busy year in 1999. That year, he appeared in many major Finnish films, including Rentun ruusu, Sibelius, and Lapin kullan kimallus.
In 2006, Martti was in the TV series Ilonen talo and the movie Kalteva torni. What's cool about Kalteva torni is that his seven-year-old daughter, Siiri Suosalo, also had her first big movie role in it!
Martti is also known for his voice acting in video games. He voiced a Finnish janitor named Ahti in the 2019 video game Control by Remedy Entertainment. His performance was so good that he won the British Academy Games Award for Performer in a Supporting Role for it! He returned to voice Ahti again in the 2023 video game Alan Wake II.
In 2020, Martti Suosalo won the Best Actor award at the Vienna Independent Film Festival. He received this award for his role in the movie Laugh or Die
