Marvin Musquin (born 30 December 1989) is a retired French professional motocross and supercross racer. He was born in La Réole, France. Marvin competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2004 to 2010. Later, he raced in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2011 to 2023. He is famous for winning two MX2 World Championships. He also won the 2015 250cc AMA Supercross East Championship.

Marvin Musquin's Racing Journey
Early Wins and World Titles
Marvin Musquin started his racing career strong. In 2004, he won the European Motocross Championship in the 85cc class. This was a great start for the young rider. He continued his success by winning the 2006 125cc Junior World Championship.
In 2008, Marvin raced in the F.I.M. MX2-GP world championship. He rode a Honda as a privateer, meaning he wasn't part of a big factory team. He finished 14th overall that year.
The years 2009 and 2010 were amazing for Musquin. He won the F.I.M. MX2-GP World Championship in 2009. He then successfully defended his title in 2010! During these championship years, he rode for the KTM factory racing team. This team was managed by the legendary former world champion, Stefan Everts.
Racing in America: AMA Championships
From 2011 onwards, Marvin Musquin moved to race in the 250cc class of the AMA Motocross Championship in America. In 2013, he finished third overall in the season.
In 2014, he showed his skill by winning the first-ever Red Bull Straight Rhythm event in the 250cc class. This event is a unique head-to-head race on a straight track with jumps.
A big highlight came in 2015 when he won the East Supercross 250MX class Championship. That same year, Marvin was part of the winning French team at the Motocross des Nations. His teammates were Gautier Paulin and Romain Febvre.
Top Finishes in 450cc Class
In 2016, Marvin moved up to the powerful 450cc class. He finished third in the AMA Pro Motocross championship. He was behind top riders Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac.
The next year, 2017, he finished second in the Motocross Championship. He was just 17 points behind Eli Tomac. In 2018, he again finished second, this time in the Monster Energy AMA 450 Supercross Championship. He was 9 points behind Jason Anderson.
Marvin Musquin trained with Aldon Baker, a well-known professional motocross trainer. Baker has helped many top riders improve their performance.
Personal Life
Marvin Musquin married his long-time girlfriend, Mathilde, on September 13, 2019. They welcomed their daughter in December 2022.
