Mary E. Pearson was born on August 14, 1955. She is an American writer famous for her books for young adults. These stories are often filled with adventure, mystery, and strong characters.
One of her books, A Room on Lorelei Street, won the 2006 Golden Kite Award. This award is given to excellent children's fiction. Her book The Adoration of Jenna Fox was also a finalist for the Andre Norton Award. This exciting story is even being made into a movie!
