Early Life and Career

Maryse Pelletier was born in Cabano, Quebec. She studied at several universities to prepare for her career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Université de Moncton. She also studied French, American, and English literature at the Université Laval. Later, she focused on theatre at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal.

In the 1970s, Maryse Pelletier became an actress. She performed in many funny plays, called comedies. She acted at famous theatres like the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and the Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui.

Writing for Young Audiences

Maryse Pelletier is especially well-known for writing TV shows for young people. She wrote scripts for Radio-Canada, which is a big Canadian TV network.
