Masafumi Maeda started his football journey playing for Kansai University from 2001 to 2004. This is where he developed his skills before becoming a professional player.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
In 2005, Maeda joined Gamba Osaka, a big team in the J1 League. This was the highest level of professional football in Japan. During his time there, he played in 38 games and scored 4 goals.
