Masakazu Suzuki (鈴木 政一, Suzuki Masakazu, born January 1, 1955) is a former Japanese football player and manager. He is becoming the assistant coach of the Myanmar national football team.

Playing Days
Masakazu Suzuki was born in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, on January 1, 1955. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at Nippon Sport Science University, he started his professional playing career.
From 1977 to 1982, Suzuki played as a defender for a team called Yamaha Motors. This team later became known as Júbilo Iwata. He was a strong player during his time on the field.
Coaching Career
After he stopped playing football, Masakazu Suzuki began a new journey as a coach. He started coaching at Yamaha Motors in 1984. He worked hard as a coach for many years.
In 2000, he became the main manager for Júbilo Iwata. He led the team to great success. In 2002, his team won the J1 League championship, which is a big achievement in Japanese football. After this victory, he stepped down as manager.
He returned to manage Júbilo Iwata for a short time in 2004. Later, in 2013, he took on an important role as the manager for the Japan U-20 national team. This meant he helped train young, talented players for Japan.
In 2018, Suzuki became the manager for J2 League club Albirex Niigata. However, the team did not perform well, and he left the club in August of that year. He returned to manage Júbilo Iwata again from 2020 to 2021.
