Masaki Tsuchihashi (born July 23, 1972) is a former Japanese football player. He was known for playing as a midfielder. He also played for the Japan national team.

Masaki Tsuchihashi's Early Life and Club Career

Masaki Tsuchihashi was born in Yokohama, Japan, on July 23, 1972. After finishing his studies at Kokushikan University, he started his professional football career.

Playing for Urawa Reds

In 1995, Tsuchihashi joined Urawa Reds, a well-known football club in Japan. He quickly became an important player for the team. He played as a defensive midfielder. This means his main job was to protect his team's goal and help stop the other team from scoring. He also helped start attacks from the back.

He played many games for Urawa Reds in his first few years. However, as the 1990s came to an end, he played less often. He continued to play for Urawa Reds until the end of the 2003 season. After that, he decided to retire from playing professional football.

Playing for the National Team

Masaki Tsuchihashi also had the chance to play for his country. On May 26, 1996, he made his first appearance for the Japan national team. This was a special moment for him, as he played against the team from Yugoslavia.
