Mathew Pritchard (born 30 March 1973) is a Welsh professional skateboarder, TV star, chef, and athlete. He is famous for co-creating and starring in the MTV UK show ... Sanchez.
Pritchard is also known for his passion for healthy living. In 2019, he hosted Dirty Vegan, the first vegan cooking show on the BBC. He has also written three popular cookbooks about vegan food.

Career Highlights
From Skateboarding to TV
Mathew Pritchard started skateboarding when he was 15 years old. His talent quickly got him noticed, and his first sponsor was a local skate shop in Cardiff called City Surf. He later worked for Globe Shoes, a major skate brand, and even designed his own shoe.
Pritchard and his friend Lee Dainton made a skateboarding video called Pritchard vs Dainton. In the video, they performed skate tricks and played pranks on each other. This video gave them the idea for their famous MTV show, ... Sanchez.
The show, which also starred Michael "Pancho" Locke and Dan Joyce, featured the group performing wild stunts. It was very popular and ran from 2003 to 2008. In 2006, they released Dirty Sanchez: The Movie, where they traveled the world doing stunts related to the Seven Deadly Sins.
Pritchard also appeared on the Channel 4 show ... of Steel with his friend Michael Locke.
Becoming the 'Dirty Vegan'
Pritchard decided to become a vegan in 2015 after watching the documentary Cowspiracy. Being vegan means he does not eat any animal products, like meat, dairy, or eggs.
He wanted to share his love for plant-based food with others. In 2017, he started a cooking show on YouTube called Proper Vegan Cookin'. This led to his own BBC show in 2019, Dirty Vegan. It was the first all-vegan cooking show on the BBC.

Amazing Athletic Challenges
Pritchard is also a serious athlete who competes in triathlons. A triathlon is a race that includes swimming, cycling, and running.
In 2018, the BBC filmed a documentary about him called Wild Man to Ironman. The film followed Pritchard as he completed an incredible challenge: finishing an ironman-distance triathlon every day for 14 days across Wales.
Personal Life
In 2009, Pritchard was seriously injured in an attack but made a full recovery. He has a dog named Lemmy.
