Matilde Salvador Segarra (born March 23, 1918 – died October 5, 2007) was a talented Spanish composer and painter. She created many beautiful musical pieces and was also known for her artwork.

Matilde Salvador was born and grew up in Castellón de la Plana, a city in the Valencian Community in Spain. She married another composer named Vicente Asencio (1908–1979).

Matilde was a very important person in promoting the culture and music of her home, the Valencian Community. She helped share the region's unique artistic traditions with the world. One of her most famous musical pieces was Homenatge a Mistral, which was written for a solo guitar.

Matilde Salvador passed away on October 5, 2007, in Valencia. She was 89 years old and left behind a wonderful collection of music and art.
