Matt Hubbard (born July 12, 1978) is an American television writer and screenwriter. This means he writes the stories and dialogue for TV shows and movies. He has worked on many popular television series.

Matt went to Beverly High School in Beverly, Massachusetts, and graduated in 1996. He was very good at English there. Later, he studied at Harvard University, where he was an editor for the Harvard Lampoon, a famous humor magazine.

He is well-known for his work on the NBC comedy show 30 Rock. He even won two Emmy awards in 2009! One Emmy was for "Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series" for an episode of 30 Rock called "Reunion." The other was for "Outstanding Comedy Series," which means the whole show was recognized as excellent. After 30 Rock, he also worked as a Consulting Producer and writer for the last two seasons of Parks and Recreation.
