Matt Hubbard grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts. He went to Beverly High School and graduated in 1996. He was very good at English there. After high school, he attended Harvard University. While at Harvard, he was an editor for the famous humor magazine, the Harvard Lampoon. This experience helped him develop his skills in comedy writing.
