Maureen Nolan was born on 14 June 1954. She is an Irish singer and actress. Maureen is best known for being a member of the famous singing group, the Nolans.

Her Early Life
Maureen Nolan was born in Dublin, Ireland. She was the fourth of eight children in her family. Her parents were Tommy and Maureen Nolan.
She has several sisters who also became famous singers: Anne, Denise, Linda, Bernie, and Coleen. She also has two brothers, Tommy and Brian. The family lived in Raheny, a suburb of Dublin, before moving to Blackpool, England in 1962.
Singing with The Nolans
Maureen and her sisters formed a popular singing group called the Nolans. They became very well-known for their music.
In 1979, The Nolans had a huge hit song called "I'm in the Mood for Dancing". This song reached number one on music charts in Japan and South Africa. It also reached number two on the Irish music charts.
The sisters often reunited for special performances. In 2005, five of them, including Maureen, sang "I'm In the Mood for Dancing" for a BBC TV show. They performed it again in 2007. Maureen also joined her sisters for a reunion tour in 2009. The group came together again in 2020 and continued to perform until 2022.
What She Does Now
In February 2020, Maureen and The Nolans appeared in a new TV series. The show was called The Nolans Go Cruising and aired on Quest Red.
Maureen Nolan continues to perform today. She stars in various stage and theatre shows across the United Kingdom.
