Maurette Brown Clark, born in 1966 as Maurette Brown, is an American gospel singer. She started her solo music career in 1998. Her first album was called How I Feel.
Later, she released more albums like By His Grace in 2002, The Dream in 2007, and The Sound of Victory in 2011. All these albums were very popular and appeared on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Since 1996, Maurette has also been a member of Richard Smallwood's music group, Vision.

Maurette Brown Clark was born on Long Island, New York. Her parents loved music, and they encouraged her to sing from a very young age. She started singing when she was just four years old.
By the time she was six, she began taking singing lessons. She continued to sing throughout her high school and college years. Before becoming a solo artist, she even toured with other gospel musicians.

Maurette Brown Clark's solo music journey officially began in 1998. Her first album, How I Feel, was released on August 25 by Verity Records. This album was a big success, reaching number 8 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
After her first album, she released more music with Atlanta International Records. Her album By His Grace, released on August 6, 2002, reached number 12 on the Gospel Albums chart. Then came The Dream, released on March 6, 2007, which reached number 34. Her fourth album, The Sound of Victory, came out on November 1, 2011, and climbed to number 6 on the chart.
