Mauro Entrialgo Ibarrondo was born in Vitoria, Spain, in 1965. He is a talented Spanish artist who does many things. He works as an illustrator, a musician, and most importantly, a cartoonist. Some of his most famous characters are Herminio Bolaextra, El Demonio Rojo, and Ángel Sefija.
Mauro has also written stories for other artists like Alvarortega and Calpurnio. He has written for animated shows like Cuttlas and for commercials. His writing has also been used in movies, such as Gente pez (2001), and on TV shows like those on Paramount Comedy. He even wrote for a play called Herminio y Miguelito.
As a musician, Mauro Entrialgo was part of two bands: Fat Esteban and Esteban Light.

About Mauro Entrialgo
Mauro's dad worked in a factory. He used to buy Mauro comic books. Mauro would copy these comics even before he learned to read!
He published his first comic series in 1982. It was called Pastiches Show presentan and appeared in Makoki magazine. In 1987, he helped start TMEO magazine. He has worked with them for free ever since. For TMEO, he created Herminio Bolaextra. This series was about a newspaper editor who loved parties and wasn't afraid to speak his mind.
After Makoki magazine closed in 1993, Mauro worked on scripts for theater, movies, and TV. He also created illustrations for advertisements. In 1994, he made the series El Demonio Rojo for El Víbora magazine. This series was about a wrestler. That same year, he won an award for new artists at the Barcelona International Comic Fair. In 1995, he created another series called Alter Rollo.
In 2000, Mauro created the series Ángel Sefija for El Jueves magazine. This series was a observational comedy, meaning it looked at funny things in everyday life. He has also made comics and drawings for the satirical magazine Mongolia and the online newspaper Público.
