Maxwell House International is a popular brand of flavored instant coffee drinks. It's made by the Maxwell House coffee company, which is part of Kraft Foods. These tasty drinks come from the United States.
History
This line of drinks first came out in the early 1970s. Back then, it was called General Foods International Coffee. It was owned by a company named General Foods.
When it first launched, there were three main flavors. These were Café au lait, Suisse Mocha, and Cafe Vienna. Café au lait was later renamed to Cafe Francais. These coffees were sold in small tins. People thought of them as special, high-quality drinks. They were very popular all through the 1990s.
In late 2005, the name changed a bit. It became "General Foods International." This happened because they started adding drinks that weren't coffee. For example, they added Chai latte and Vanilla Creme.
By 2009, the products began to show a new label. It said "From the makers of Maxwell House." Then, in the summer of 2010, the whole product line got a new name. It was officially rebranded as Maxwell House International Cafés.
