McRae is a small, quiet place in northern Alberta, Canada. It's not a big city or town, but rather an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and perhaps a few businesses that aren't officially part of a city government. McRae is located inside the County of St. Paul No. 19.

You can find McRae about 16 kilometers (about 10 miles) south of Highway 55. It's also around 99 kilometers (about 62 miles) west of a larger place called Cold Lake.
