Growth and Changes
In September 2019, Meatless Farm started selling its products in the United States. They partnered with an American supermarket called Whole Foods.
In October 2019, their plant-based burger became very popular. It was the first plant-based burger added to the menu of a British pub chain, Wetherspoons.
By October 2020, Meatless Farm had 100 employees. Their offices were in different cities around the world. These cities included Leeds in the UK, Amsterdam, New York, and Singapore.
In June 2023, Meatless Farm faced some difficulties. The company had to let go of all its 50 workers. It then went into a process called "administration." This is when a company needs help to manage its money problems.
However, the story did not end there. In August 2023, another company called VFC Foods bought Meatless Farm. This means Meatless Farm products will soon be back in stores. You will be able to find them again in Asda supermarkets.
