Mia-Rae Clifford, born on August 10, 1986, is an Australian athlete. She is known for playing both Australian rules football and rugby union.
She played Australian rules football for the Melbourne, Geelong, and Fremantle teams. These teams are part of the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition. Mia-Rae also plays rugby for the Melbourne Rebels in the Super W competition.

Time with Melbourne
Mia-Rae Clifford was chosen by the Melbourne Football Club in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She was the 89th player picked overall.
She played her first game in 2017 against Brisbane. This match took place at Casey Fields. She played in all seven games during her first season. At the end of 2017, Melbourne decided not to keep her on their team.
Time with Geelong
In August 2018, Clifford joined the Geelong Football Club's AFLW team. Geelong was a new team joining the league at that time.
She played for Geelong during the 2019 season. In April 2019, Geelong decided not to keep her on their team.
Time with Fremantle
After leaving Geelong, Mia-Rae Clifford signed with the Fremantle Football Club in April 2019. She joined them as a free agent.
She played for Fremantle during the 2020 season. In August 2020, Fremantle also decided not to keep her on their team.
Playing in the VFLW
Time with Essendon
In November 2020, Clifford joined the Essendon Football Club's VFLW team. The VFLW is another women's football league.
She was the leading goal kicker for Essendon in the 2021 season. At the start of the 2022 season, Mia-Rae became a Co-Captain for the team. She shared this role with Georgia Nanscawen.
Together, they led the Essendon team to an amazing undefeated season in 2022. They won the Rebel VFLW Grand Final in July 2022.
Rugby Union Career
Mia-Rae Clifford joined the Melbourne Rebels women's rugby team for the 2023 Super W season. She continues to play rugby for them.
