Michael Craig McDermon (born September 14, 1973), known by his stage name Mic Geronimo, is an American rapper from Queens, New York.
His music career started after he met music producer Irv Gotti at a high school talent show. Mic Geronimo recorded a song called "...'s Real," which became a popular underground hit. This success helped him get a record deal with Blunt/TVT Records. In 1995, he released his first album, The Natural. Later, in 2002, the musician Moby used a sample from his song "Wherever You Are" for the track "Jam for the Ladies".
In 1997, Mic Geronimo released his second album, Vendetta. For this album, he worked with many famous artists like Jay-Z, Ja Rule, DMX, The Lox, and Puff Daddy. They collaborated on the hit single "Nothin' Move but the Money," which had a popular music video.
He released two more albums: Long Road Back in 2003 and Alive 9/14/73 in 2007.
