Michael Clark (born July 10, 1973) is an American professional boxer. He is famous for his nickname, "Cold Blood". Michael has won the IBC lightweight title two times. He also held other important boxing titles. These include the NABF and WBC Continental Americas lightweight titles. He even fought for the WBO lightweight title.

Michael Clark's Boxing Journey
Early Life and Boxing Start
Michael Clark grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He started boxing when he was only seven years old. He quickly became very good at amateur boxing. His boxing coach, Matthew Voltolini, became like a father to him. Matthew adopted Michael when he was 12 years old.
Turning Professional
When Michael was 19, he became a professional boxer. This was after he won the 1992 National Golden Gloves Featherweight title. He also reached the semifinals of the U.S. Olympic trials that year. Michael had an amazing start to his professional career. He won 24 fights in a row over six years. His first loss came from Artur Grigorian. This was during a fight for the WBO lightweight title.
On The Contender
Michael Clark was part of the ESPN reality show Contender Season 2. He volunteered to be the captain of the Gold Team. He was also the first person from his team to box on the show. In his fight, he was knocked down by Cornelius Bundrage. Michael lost the fight by a majority decision.
