Michael Müller (born 9 December 1964) is a German politician. He is well-known for his important roles in the city of Berlin and in Germany. From 2014 to 2021, he served as the Governing Mayor of Berlin. This means he was like the main boss of the city.
He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, which is one of the biggest political parties in Germany. He also held a very high position as President of the Bundesrat from November 2017 to October 2018. This role made him a temporary stand-in for the President of Germany if needed.
