Michelle Renee Clunie, born on November 7, 1969, is an American actress. She was also a professional ballet dancer. Michelle grew up in Portland, Oregon. From a young age, she loved ballet. She even earned a special scholarship to a ballet school.
In 1992, she acted in a play called A Comedy of Eros. She won an award for being the best actress in it. Her first movie role was in Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday in 1993. Many people know her from the TV show Queer as Folk. She played a character named Melanie Marcus from 2000 to 2005. She also played Ellen Beals in Make It or Break It. Later, she was Mrs. Finch, a biology teacher, in the TV show Teen Wolf.

Michelle went to David Douglas High School in Portland. She finished high school in 1987. She received a scholarship to The Academy of Professional Ballet. She trained there during her teenage years. When she was 19, she sold her violin. She used the money to move to Los Angeles, California. She wanted to become an actress.
Her Acting Career
In 1992, Michelle Clunie started acting on stage in Los Angeles. Her first play there was A Comedy of Eros. She won an award for being the best actress in this play. She also acted in another play called The Mercy Seat. For this role, she won another award. Michelle also wrote and performed her own play called US. This play was shown in New York City.
In 1995, she was in the movie The Usual Suspects. This movie won an Academy Award. She also had a role in the movie Lost & Found. Michelle became a regular actress on The Jeff Foxworthy Show. She also appeared as a guest star on many popular TV shows. These include ER, House M.D., and NCIS.
She is well-known for playing Melanie Marcus. This was in the TV show Queer as Folk. She also played Mrs. Finch. Mrs. Finch was a biology teacher in MTV’s show Teen Wolf.
Her Family Life
In October 2014, it was shared that Michelle Clunie was going to have a baby. She had a son in January 2015.
