Michèle Victory (born 28 October 1958) is a French politician. She was a member of the French National Assembly for a part of France called Ardèche's 2nd constituency. The National Assembly is like the parliament in other countries, where elected people represent citizens and help make laws for the country.
Michèle Victory is part of the Socialist Party, which is one of the main political groups in France. Before becoming a politician, she worked as an English teacher.
Michèle Victory's Early Life and Career
Michèle Victory was born in 1958 in a city called Annaba. At that time, Annaba was part of French Algeria. She later became an English teacher, helping students learn the language.
She first got involved in local politics in 1995. This means she started working to help her local community and make decisions for the area where she lived.
Her Journey to the National Assembly
Michèle Victory first ran for the National Assembly in 2007 as a "substitute candidate." A substitute candidate is like a backup. If the main elected person can no longer do their job, the substitute steps in.
She officially became a member of the French National Assembly in December 2017. This happened because the person who was elected before her, Olivier Dussopt, joined the government as a Secretary of State. When he took on this new role, Michèle Victory, as his substitute, took his place in the National Assembly.
