Mickey Bey Jr. (born June 27, 1983) is an American professional boxer. He used to be a champion in the lightweight division. He held the IBF lightweight title.

Mickey Bey Jr. started his professional boxing career in 2005. He quickly became known for his skill and speed in the ring.
Early Fights and Challenges
On February 2, 2013, Bey fought Robert Rodríguez. Bey won the fight by knockout in the third round. After the fight, he had a drug test. It showed he had too much testosterone. Because of this, he was fined some money and couldn't box for three months.
Becoming a World Champion
A big moment for Mickey Bey came on September 13, 2014. He fought Miguel Vázquez for the IBF lightweight title. After 12 rounds, the judges made a "split decision." This means they didn't all agree, but most of them thought Bey won. So, Mickey Bey became a world champion for the first time! This exciting fight happened on the same night as a big match featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr..
Giving Up His Title
After winning the IBF lightweight title, Mickey Bey was supposed to defend it. This means he had to fight another boxer, Denis Shafikov, to keep his championship. The fight was planned for April 2015. However, Bey decided not to take the fight. He turned down a good amount of money for it.
Because he didn't fight to defend his title, he had to give it up. On July 3, 2015, Mickey Bey officially gave up his IBF lightweight championship. He had not defended the title even once.
Later Fights
On June 3, 2016, Bey fought Rances Barthelemy. This fight was also for the IBF lightweight championship. Barthelemy won the fight by a split decision.
Later, on December 14, 2019, Mickey Bey fought George Kambosos Jr.. This fight took place in New York City. After 10 rounds, Kambosos Jr. won by a split decision.
