Miguel Arcángel Roscigna (1891–1936) was an Argentine anarchist and political activist. He was also a blacksmith. He believed strongly in changing society to help working people.
Roscigna was a member of a political group called the Unión de Sindicatos Argentinos (Union of Argentine Syndicates). He felt that the usual ways of protesting were not enough to help people who were in prison for political reasons. He wanted to take stronger actions to support them. In November 1918, he went to the Ushuaia Prison. He tried to help Simon Radowitzky, another activist, escape from there. Radowitzky did get out for a short time but was later caught again.
Miguel Roscigna faced legal challenges and had to leave Argentina for a while. He was later captured and sent to prison in 1927. After he was released, he disappeared in 1936. His disappearance remains a mystery.
